Where do you prefer skiing? Your top ski destination...
For example, my friends and I often go to Switzerland to have a great ski holidays. I started skiing when I was 13 years old and exactly in Switzerland... So, for me its like a tradition from childhood. My favourite destination is Andermatt resort, but some times my friends choose another resort and we try to visit both of them, in this case we usually take Car Hire Geneva to visit all places. I really enjoy this time! And what about you? Last edited by Lara333 : 04-11-2009 at 03:13 PM. |

Ideal for intermediate skiers, Zermatt is a lovely Swiss town which boasts Switzerland’s longest ski run and year-round snow.
Offering an abundance of facilities for both skiers and non-skiers, Zermatt is a no-car atmosphere, making it extremely peaceful despite the number of restaurants, shops and bars. Après ski in the resort is lively and caters to all ages, whilst accommodations range from hotels and apartments to chalets and camp sites

Hi all,
Two years ago I worked a season in a little resort in Colorado called Telluride. the town is tiny. about 1-2000 people off season but has some of the most exilerating, steep, gnarly, beautiful terrain I have ever seen. The views are jaw dropping, the skies are often blue, with huge dumps of powdery white stuff most nights. Backcountry is huge and the terrain in the area is seemingly endless. I clocked up 100 days on the mountain in the season, and never got bored... there was always new runs to hit up and backcountry to explore. The only drawback is that Telluride isnt the easiest resort to get to... its an hours flight in a 16 seater 'scary as shit' plane which lands on the worlds scariest runway or a long drive in. there are no highways and the roads were impassable without snowchains for weeks at a a time. ~Dont let this put you off though as it only lends to the exclusivity of the resort. you really will feel like king of the mountain here! Be under no illusion. 'Telluride' is the best ski resort in the world. you heard it here first. |
