18 - Female - RTW Oz /NZ/ South America

Hi, I've been planning my RTW gap year trip for a while, but it's all starting to come together now and I'm about to book my flights! so I thought I'd ask if anyone was going my way, particularly for the South America!

I'm an 18 year old girl going on a gap year before going to study History and Spanish at uni. I have always wanted to travel and thought that it would be great to perfect my spanish before I go to uni as well!

Plans so far:
I'm going alone, and starting in Cairns, Australia, flying out from London in the beginning of November (will know exact dates next week!), then planning to use a hop-on hop-off bus to travel down the East coast to Melbourne. Will be in Sydney for Christmas and new years and the most amount of time. Will then spend some time in New Zealand in February before heading out to South America.

South America:
- arriving into Santiago, Chile end of February
- doing a volunteer placement for two months in Bolivia between March and April and then doing 2 weeks independent travel dependent on who I meet!
- booking Machu Picchu tour for Peru sometime in May and doing some other travel around Peru
- inland flight beginning of June to Venezuela to meet friends I met a few years back!
- inland flight in July to Argentina - travelling, partying, perfecting the spanish!
- flight home in August!

If anyone thinks we will cross over at any point during my journey just let me know! Would be great to have some contacts before I leave, or even plan some trips with!
