Default Xmas in Oz! Advice needed!

Help! I need advice! Does anyone know if it is necessary to book hostel accommodation in Sydney for Xmas/ New year 07?? I wanna spend Xmas on Bondi Beach, if anyone knows anything about this or wants to join me then give us a shout!

I'm planning on being in Australia in December, and am also looking to make Christmas plans. Christmas on the beach does sound like a fantastic experience, and I'm looking for people to meet up with

Yeah I def recommend booking some where! I was there in 04 and had a house in bondi beach (the best place to be for christmas) and the hostels were booked out way in advance. Im thinknig of going bak for christmas this year and am def gonna book a hostel before hand!!! Its not worth the risk!! I highly recommend the beaches tho!

yup... booking anywhere in Oz is essential over the Xmas/NY period.

Also going to sydney for new year and christmas. Let me know where you found accomadation plz also anyone looking to hook up just let me know and heard pubs n clubs get booked up for new year too does anyone know what they are doing yet

hi people, I'm looking 2 go over to oz in the new year, would really like to hear from people who are going the same time, also looking to meet up with people b4 hand if possible, so im not travelling on my own......cheers fiona

absolutely,booking is essential- I could pretty much guarantee that you would never get in if you didn't book - Sydney is so popular over Xmas/NYs!!

if you cant get in anywhere (and it was very very busy there this xmas just gone), just buy a van and sleep in that! that is what we did. There is a pool at the end of bondi beach where we would go and pay to use their shower facilities.
