Default Baglore

You are in luck !!! This was published in the travel section of Sunday Telegraph. it says it is the friendliest city in India, especially for young and women, who feel utterly safe. I copy it down for you.

Where's is the best place to stay ? Villa Pottipatti (142, 8th Cross, Malleshwaram; 0091. 80 2336 0777; www.neemranahostels.com , doub;es from£50), in the old quarter within walking distence of shops and restaurants.

Meet friends for drinks ; At "13th Foloor", a pub on top of Barton Centre on MG Road.. Has splendid view of the city, fine Margeritas and music from 70s.

Place for lunch Monsoon Hotel at the Park Road off MG Road (2559 4666) Wide range of Indian and European dishes. Mavalli, Tiffin Rooms ( 14, Lalbagh Road; 2223 0471) has spectacular South Indian vagetarian foods - expect to queue up for table.

Dinner Karavalli's at Gateway Hotel ( 2558 4545) for spicy fish and Kerala prawn curry, If home sick, then head to Sunny's (Vitthal Mallya Road ; 4232 9366).

Hope this is of help. I have not yet visited Bangalore, so I have no personal experience.

Hi,

I Stay in Bangalore.

I would suggest you to take hotels near by MG Road. There are only few hotels near Airport road like Leela palace which is very very costly

You can also stay in few apartments which are given for rent for few days.

Let me know if you need help.

Icon Surprised Salarjung Musuem

Salarjung Museum in India is the third largest museum in India, and is located in Hyderabad, capital city of Andhra Pradesh. This museum restores some finest specimen, reflecting the rich heritage of India. Thus, do not forget to include this wonderful museum in your India Holiday Packages.
The most remarkable feature of this museum is that it showcases collections dating back to the 1st century. The museum is a treat to soul as it provides around 43000 art objects and 50000 books and manuscripts. So if you are planning to include the city of Nawabs in your India tour packages, then do not forget including this wonderful museum. Try spending a day at this wonderful place.
