Hi - I am so envious, Goa is fantastic.
We stayed at Palolem beach, I have been told this is one of the most unspoilt beaches, and certainly there are no high rise hotels there, we stayed in a lovely but basic hut on stilts. From there, you can hire a moped and tour around, or take a small boat and go dolphin watching or numerous other trips the locals will talk to you about. If you are there for a while, you might want to go inland to Hampi - we went by train and it is a full day journey but spectacular views en route and very cheap to travel. Hampi is like a forgotten city, lots of temples - some still complete and others more battered and a very interesting history if you have a guide plus you will see some spectacular sunrises and sunsets it's worth a couple of days having a look around. ( you can probably google to find out some more info ) Just remember to haggle for everything !! Have a wonderful time |

Panaji is a small town in Goa, and also the capital of Goa. A peaceful place, one can see a huge Portugal influence on it. Portuguese came to India in 1510 to control the spice trade of India. Missionaries came to Panaji in 1542.
The quite roads of Panaji still reflect the Portuguese architecture. So, you can book India Holiday packages focusing on Goa, to make your trip a successful one. There are many India Travel Agency and India Tour operators, who can assist you in every step, while formulating a tour package for India. Tour in India, without the reference of Panaji is unfair. Panaji is a place worth visiting |
