Hi, usually visit kenya often grew up in the country, what I know having visited a few places in eastern africa which is kenya Uganda tanzania, rwanda and a few others. Meru is an area in the highlands of Kenya.
The nearest mountain known for its forest hiking and wildlife is Mt kenya. Meru and and Nyanuki town/area are located at the foot of the mountain. Many tour companies exist in kenya as it's known for the wildlife and coastal tourism. Try onsafaris (google it) they may be able to organise a hike. If you are going to ngorogoro area is a good bet, nice views, wildlife as well not to much their. |
