Default Morocco: beyond the tourist experience

In a group of 8 we just come back from a tour in Morocco from Marrakech, big south and kasbahs. We enjoyed so much with our Berber Touareg guides of nomadexperience .com The first day we met our guide Nourdine and we visited Marrakech, the ancient Imperial City. We discovered the majesty of the Koutoubia landmark visible from all over the city, built in the twelfth century, and a reference model for the tower of the Giralda tower in Seville and the Hassan II tower in Rabat, the Saadian tombs, visit the Bahia palace and the mausoleum of the Ba Ahmed vizier. Then we continued through the Jemaa el Fna, the living heart of the city, the souk of the dyers, the leather zone and then we passed through the spice zone.
The next day after breakfast, we went to Ouarzazate via the of Tizi-n-Tichka pass (2260 m) and the High Atlas mountains and we visited for the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou (nominated UNESCO universal heritage). Then our incredible tour continued to Agdz, passing through the Draa Valley, arriving in Zagora. The day after we departured from Zagora through the Draa valley to reach a path leading to the villages of Ait Taftechna and Ouaazique with its rock caves. Along the road we came to Tazarine Et Alnif where we had lunch, then we continued towards the impressive dunes of Merzouga (Erg Chebbi) through Rissani. We passed from the 4x4 to the dromedaries and watched the different colors of the sun on the dunes and spent the night in the heart of the dunes.
After we woke up in the morning to watch the sunrise on the large dunes, we got back on our camels across the dunes. After breakfast, we took the path leading toward the town of Erfoud. Then we crossed the Tourog palm grove, and the Tinjdad grove and after lunch we continued towards the Toudra gorges where we spent the night.
After breakfast and a walk through the palm groves we departed to Tinghir Boumalne to continue through the Dades gorges, we visited the gorges and have lunch nearby and after lunch we returned via the Dades Valley to the Ait Youl Kasbah and took a trail through the Valley of Roses and that lead to the capital of roses Kalaa M'gouna; we continued to Skoura and visited the Amredhyle Kasbah in Skoura. Then we proceeded to Ouarzazate, visited the city and Taourirt Kasbah, film studios, Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. We passed through the villages Merzgane and Ighrem.
We, very sad, reached Marrakech where our tour ended.
It was a wonderful tour, perfect organization thanks to nomadperience .com
